Diagnosing The Problem
| A. Review the following for commonly encountered issues |
- CDT build failed due to Out Of Memory Issue
- Running the CDT in text mode
- Setting CDT preference settings in text mode
- YFS_FLOW and YFS_SUB_FLOW tables are not exported from the Source DB to target XML directory
- Deploying customization on the next-generation platform
- Importing externally maintained configuration data
- Deploying customization or custom runtime image on the legacy platform

- Proceed to log in to the Self Service tool
- Review the process that was run for CDT and check whether there was a failure

- Import configuration
- Export configuration
- Deploy customization extensions

- Open the process ID number and review the stack trace provided
- The log displays details for all stages of the CDT process
- You can view these logs in Graylog too
- Review the Ydkprefs.xml file to review the ignored table list
- When using the Ignore or Append-only features, the CDT cannot guarantee the integrity of any external data. In order to ensure data integrity, CDT must have complete access to the configuration data.
- Review the following Deployment tools overview on how to configure CDT
- The following command is used to run CDT import and export by using the workbench
- Example: ./cdtshell.sh
- If the process fails, provide the CDT-generated logs.
- Provide the CDT resource files, which modify the CDT preference settings
