Models supported by IBM i 7.1

Models supported by IBM i 7.1, April 2010, updated December 2010

IBM i 7.1 is supported on:

  • POWER7 BladeCenter models PS700, PS701, and PS702
  • POWER7 Power 710, 720, 730, 740, 750, 770, 780, 795
  • POWER6 BladeCenter models JS12, JS22, JS23, JS43
  • POWER6 Power 520, 550, 560, 570, 595
  • POWER5 System i 515, 520, 525, 550, 570, and 595

IBM i 7.1 is not supported on System i models 800, 810, 825, 870, 890 or earlier members of the iSeries family.
