Abstract

This document provides information about downloading and installing the IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.8.1-IBM-MAS-FP0001 fix. This image includes the installer for the MAS 8.8.1 maintenance release.

Issues addressed in this fix

  • Security updates
  • Login performance improvements
    • Eliminated redundant database lookups
    • Added lookup index to improve auth performance
  • User Synchronization customizable search limit
    • Maximum search limit changed from 4500 to 10000 users
    • New config.customMaxSearchResults available in ScimCfg custom resource (default to 10000)
  • When configuring LDAP Authentication and retrieving certificates multiple certificates will no longer be identified with the same name
  • User pagination page now shows the correct pagination and is correctly sorted by user id
 

Steps for installing 8.8.1

Installing a Maximo Application Suite fix is done in the same way that the original product was installed. See the Installing Maximo Application Suite page for directions. For this fix, however, you run the install script that was downloaded as part of the fix instead of the install.sh that came with the original product image.
