How To
Summary
This technote covers how to regenerate the Two Factor Authentication (2FA) codes for a user, which are normally provided when a user sets up 2FA for the first time.
Objective
With QRadar EDR (formerly ReaQta), when a user sets up 2FA for the first time, they are provided a set of backup codes in case of some sort of loss of access to their selected 2FA device. It's possible that these codes need to be re-created, as they can be lost, leaked to an unknown party or simply ignored at creation. This technote covers the process of regenerating these 2FA backup codes.
This technote assumes the user can already log in. If they cannot, please contact IBM ReaQta Support for assistance by raising a case: IBM Support
