Last service update for Communications Server for Data Center Deployment, Version 7.1
Download Description
All future maintenance will occur on version 7.1.1. This version (7.1.0) will not receive any further fixpacks. The recommended action is to upgrade to version 7.1.1 and update with the latest maintenance for that version.
All customers with current Software Subscription & Support in effect for IBM Communications Server for Data Center Deployment can update to the latest version/release. For details, see Passport Advantage Software Subscription & Support Overview.

When viewing the Vital Product Data (VPD) for this level you will see 7.1.0.1 for all SNA executable files, except the following optional file sets:

AIX: Minimum requirements for server: sna.rte, sna.rte64. Any fileset currently installed should be updated at the same time. Requirements for client: sna.client. "AIX PTF" are updates, which require the base level to already be installed; "AIX Refresh" are full media refresh images, which do not require the base level to already be installed.
Linux: For the CS Linux Server, you can update an existing installation by applying the fix pack, or you can download the refresh version of the install media to perform a full install. "Linux Fixpack" are updates, which require the base level to already be installed and do not include LiS patch updates; "Linux Refresh" are full media refresh images, which do not require the base level to already be installed.
"API Client Refresh" are full install images, which do not require the base level to already be installed.
GSKit: SSL encryption library updates
The AIX and Linux media refresh packages require Passport Advantage entitlement for access. The API Client refresh packages do not.
