Overview
IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence V5.2.4 Fix Pack 3 delivers one platform for organizations to analyze, define, and control user access and access risks. This solution employs business-centric rules, activities and processes, empowering line-of-business managers, auditors, and risk managers to govern access and evaluate regulatory compliance across enterprise applications and services.
IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence V5.2.4 Fix Pack 3 delivers one platform for organizations to analyze, define, and control user access and access risks. This solution employs business-centric rules, activities and processes, empowering line-of-business managers, auditors, and risk managers to govern access and evaluate regulatory compliance across enterprise applications and services.
RDBMS SUPPORT
The product requires RDBMS support and supports the following database servers:
- PostgreSQL®: The PostgreSQL database is internal to the product and, when selected, it is installed automatically.
- DB2® : DB2 Enterprise Server Edition version 11.5. The database is licensed for use with IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence.
- Oracle®: Oracle Server versions 12c and 19c.
Downloading and assembling the product
Downloading from IBM Fix Central
Perform the following steps to download the product.
- From the IBM Fix Central website, download the IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence V5.2.4 Fix Pack 3 and the readme file.
- Create a temporary directory on your local computer and unpack the downloaded fix pack contents into the temporary directory.
- Follow the instructions in the readme file to install the product.
Downloading from Passport Advantage
Important: For IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence (IGI) version 5.2.4 Fix Pack 3 release, only the PKG is available on Passport Advantage. The XEN and Microsoft Hyper-V parts are not available for this release.
Note that you will not be able to add a new secondary member node after you have upgraded to IGI version 5.2.4 Fix Pack 3. It is recommended that you configure all the required nodes (Primary or Secondary) before you begin with the upgrade to IGI version 5.2.4 Fix Pack 3.
Perform the following steps to download the product.
- From the Passport Advantage Online website, for the downloadable images.
- Download all of the optional and required parts that you need. If you download a top eAssembly, all individual part numbers within the eAssembly are displayed.
- Create a temporary directory for your downloaded software.
- Unpack each of the parts into the temporary directory.
- Follow the instructions in the Quick Start Guides to install the product.
