Question
Answer
CP4S does not currently support vMotion.
CP4S runs on the Red Hat® OpenShift Container Platform and Red Hat OpenShift does not support storage vMotion. While Red Hat OpenShift generally supports compute-only vMotion, it is not supported on CP4S because vMotion is not currently extensively tested with Red Hat OpenShift, and can encounter errors. One such error is the temporary loss of responsiveness of when vMotion migrated VMs, causing nodes to switch to the Not Ready state. You can read more about that issue in the Red Hat OpenShift documentation.
