Summary

Node.js module URI.js is used by IBM App Connect Enterprise Certified Container for processing URIs in Designer flows. IBM App Connect Enterprise Certified Container IntegrationServers that Designer flows may be vulnerable to CVE-2022-1233. This bulletin provides patch information to address the reported vulnerability CVE-2020-1233 in Node.js module URI.js.

Vulnerability Details

CVEID:   CVE-2022-1233
DESCRIPTION:   URI.js could allow a remote attacker to conduct phishing attacks, caused by an URL confusion vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using a specially-crafted URL in the window.location.href parameter to redirect a victim to arbitrary Web sites.

App Connect Enterprise Certified Container 2.1, 3.0, 3.1 and 4.0 (Continuous Delivery)

App Connect Enterprise Certified Container 1.1 EUS (Extended Update Support)
