IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1.1 SP2 can ONLY be installed as a Service Pack on existing IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1.1 environments.

- DB2 Connector added a new option to configure the database connection by manually specifying all the required connection attributes without the need to catalog the remote DB2 database in the DB2 client in advance.
- DB2 Connector now supports API key authentication along the standard user name and password credentials.
- Netezza Connector added a new 'User-defined' option for the 'Temporary work table mode' setting. Using the new mode the user can either specify just the temporary work table name and let the Netezza Connector generate the rest of the CREATE TABLE statement or specify the full CREATE TABLE statement that the Netezza Connector will use to set up the temporary work table at job execution time.
