Problem
Message PQT1012 is being received for Product 5770SS1 Feature 5112, 5113, or 5114.
Symptom
Message PQT1012: The grace period for using PSF without paying for it will expire in NN days on <Date> (G), for Product 5770SS1 and one of the following feature codes:

Cause
Print Services Facility, also known as PSF/400, is a licensed product that is automatically shipped and installed on IBM i systems. Three product options are installed:

5770SS1 37 PSF for IBM i 1-100 IPM Printer Support
5770SS1 38 PSF for IBM i Any Speed Printer Support
Each product option is associated with a feature code for the licensed key:

PSF is activated when the writer for a LAN-attached IPDS printer is started.
Licensing the Print Services Facility/400 (PSF/400) Product
PSF no longer requires a licensed key. Ensure the appropriate PTF is applied to remove the requirement and avoid message PQT1012. History:
PSF is required for any IPDS printer device configured with Advanced Function Printing (AFP) as *YES. Any printer device configured with the Device Type (DEVTYPE) of *IPDS must have AFP set to *YES making the PSF feature necessary for *IPDS printing.
