This document outlines methods for checking and managing IBM® Support contract details, as IBM Remote Technical Support cannot provide this information. It suggests engaging with IBM Sales and Marketing Representatives or Business Partners, and provides additional self-help resources.

Objective

The objective is to enable users to access and understand their IBM Support contract details, including administrative support, adding team members, upgrading products, extending expiring support, managing IBM Support Registration, and requesting Support Access.

Steps

A) Engage your IBM Sales and Marketing Representative or Business Partner:

*** Select the contact information for "Shopping". The live contact will:

  • Review your information
  • Connect to your designated representative, if applicable, or direct you to the right group to initiate orders

Note:  For Data Privacy reasons, IBM Remote Technical Support does not have access to your IBM support contract information. If cases are opened to request entitlement details, the suggestions in this technote are provided before the case is canceled.
