Note the pre-1.9 versions of the IBM Installation Manager and IBM Packaging Utility components have been superseded and are no longer available for download from ibm.com. You should update your pre-1.9 components with the most recent version available.

IMPORTANT: For IBM Installation Manager users who have been directed here because your Installation Manager tried to update itself to a version that no longer supports the platform that is in use. The failed IM update attempt shows this error message:
"CRIMA1249E: Installation Manager cannot be updated to the latest version on the platform that is in use."
- Explanation: Newer releases of the Installation Manager no longer support platforms that are past their End-Of-Support dates.
- User Action: You will need to transition to a platform that is supported by the newer version of the IBM Installation Manager. See the System Requirements for IBM Installation Manager document http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27036456 .

Versions 220.127.116.11 and prior have been superseded by 1.9.x releases. Users of all pre-1.9 releases should upgrade their systems to the most recent release above.
