Abstract

This document describes how to download interim fix packages and readme files for IBM Spectrum Protect backup-archive client 8.1

Download Description

Download maintenance interim fix packages and readme files for the IBM Spectrum Protect 8.1.x.y interim fix BA clients, built on top of the 8.1.x fix packs. These packages include both English and non-English-language clients where supported. Maintenance is cumulative.

Note: Follow the package link to download and view the readme files, independent of the package.

Interim fixes are only delivered on a subset of platforms, as recommend waiting for the fully tested fix pack containing the fix. However, if you have a business need for a fix on a different platform than listed in download section before the next fix pack, contact IBM Support.

Note: When you install IBM Spectrum Protect 8.1.9.1, a modified Separately Licensed Code to accommodate WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Liberty 19.0.0.12 is included.
 

Installation Instructions

See the readme files that accompany the download packages by following the package link.

Interim fix packages are cumulative, full-replacement packages. They can be installed without the need to first install prior versions or the base release.
