APAR status

Error description

  • It has been identified that the /var/crash/ partition can fill
    when repeated Red Hat Enterprise Linux kernel panics occur.
    When these kernel panics occur, an appliance reboot can also be
    observed.
    These kernel panics are in relation to:

Local fix

  • Disable the userspace hardening by adding the following
    parameter to the kernel command line:
    
    hardened_usercopy=off
    

Problem summary

  • This issue was fixed in QRadar QRM QVM release of 7.3.1 patch 8
    interimfix 01 and 7.3.2 patch 5.
