  • Import of pre-7.5 jobs containing parallel lookup stages onto
8.x system thru DSXImportService loses lookup stage key
derivations.

Problem summary


    

  • The representation of lookup keys in the EditServ model changed
significantly between 7.1 and 7.5 and we have java upgrade code
that is designed to handle this.
This upgrade code works correctly for client-side import of a
DSX file produced at 7.1 but the import using DSXImportService
doesn't correctly map the lookup keys
and as a result they job will no longer compile or work
correctly.
