APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Information Server systems at v11.5 which do not have the
  Quality Suite installed and have undergone an in-place upgrade
  to v11.7 fail to obtain all the necessary files during the
  upgrade installation.
  

Local fix

• Copy the following files to directory
  <install-path>/ASBNode/lib/cpp/
  <install-path>/Server/PXEngine/lib/libicuuc.so.50
  <install-path>/Server/PXEngine/lib/libicui18n.so.50
  <install-path>/Server/PXEngine/lib/libicutu.so.50
  <install-path>/Server/PXEngine/lib/libicuio.so.50
  <install-path>/Server/PXEngine/lib/libicudata.so.50
  <install-path>/Server/PXEngine/lib/libicudata.so.50.1
  <install-path>/Server/PXEngine/lib/libicuuc.so.50.1
  <install-path>/Server/PXEngine/lib/libicui18n.so.50.1
  <install-path>/Server/PXEngine/lib_xtra/libstdc++.so.6
  

Problem summary

• AFTER UPGRADING FROM IIS V11.5.0.2 TO V11.7, DESIGN TIME
  OPERATIONS such as VIEW DATA AND TEST CONNECT NO LONGER WORK
  

Problem conclusion

• A patch is available to install the missing files and correct
  the situation.
  

Temporary fix

• Copy these files to the ASBNode/lib/cpp directory:
