Error description
The UrbanCode Deploy versions up to and excluded 6.2.5.0 included the following feature: Settings > System Settings, select the Enable Maintenance Mode Starting from 6.2.5.1, this feature has been removed. The Knowledge Center of 6.2.5 should therefore remove this feature from the following pages: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS4GSP_6.2.5/com.ibm .udeploy.doc/topics/server_maintenancemode.html https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS4GSP_6.2.5/com.ibm .udeploy.doc/topics/settings_ch.html https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS4GSP_6.2.5/com.ibm .udeploy.install.doc/topics/upgradeAgents.html https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS4GSP_6.2.5/com.ibm .udeploy.admin.doc/topics/settings_system.html https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS4GSP_6.2.5/com.ibm .udeploy.install.doc/topics/upgrade_security.html https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS4GSP_6.2.5/com.ibm .udeploy.install.doc/topics/upgrade_key_strength.html Additionally, more changes are required on these two pages: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS4GSP_6.2.5/com.ibm .udeploy.install.doc/topics/upgrade_server.html On this page, it should remove the sentence: 1. Put the server in maintenance mode, as described in Enabling maintenance mode. Putting the server in maintenance mode prevents any new processes from starting. The remaining steps should be re-ordered as follows: 4, 5, 6, 7, 2, 3, 8 and then the current order. https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SS4GSP_6.2.5/com.ibm .udeploy.install.doc/topics/upgrade_server_silent.html On this page, it should remove this sentence: 1. Put the server in maintenance mode, as described in Enabling maintenance mode. Putting the server in maintenance mode prevents any new processes from starting. The remaining steps should be re-ordered as follows: 4, 5, 6, 7, 2, 3, 8 and then the current order.
Local fix
Starting in 6.2.5.1, 'Maintenance Mode' field on the System Settings page replaced with 'Message of the Day'. Any message you input to the 'Message of the Day' field will be shown in UI. Instead of using Maintenance Mode, using the 'Message of the Day' feature, inform the users to not launch new processes, then wait until all running processes have finished. You can monitor all processes by logging in as an administrator user and watching the running processes from the Dashboard.
