Abstract

The Smart Business administrator panel hangs after setting the
SAF logging level to FINEST.

Error Description

SAF deadlocks when tracing is set to FINEST.  This will cause  
the dashboard and other operations to hang.                    

Problem Summary

The SAF server on the IBM Smart Cube can hang in a deadlock    
condition after the SAF tracing level is set to FINEST.  This  
deadlock can cause the Smart Business Administrator Panel to    
hang.                                                          

Problem Conclusion

A the logging code was updated to eliminate the deadlock        
condition when SAF tracing is set to FINEST.
