Abstract

OSP KEEP MESSAGE QUEUE DAMAGE MESSAGE IN JOB LOG

Error Description

This problem deals with standard (nonprogram) message queues
like QSYSOPR, QHST, user profile message queues, etc. It does
not deal with damage to program message queues associated with a
job log. When logical damage or corruption, on a message queue
object, is detected by system code, it forces an MSGMCH0601 to
cause message queue cleanup to be invoked. The MCH0601 should be
kept in the job log as an indicator of where the damage was
detected.
