Abstract

This document describes how to download and install IBM Netcool Ops Manager, using the IBM Passport Advantage website.

Download Description

IBM Netcool Ops Manager integrates infrastructure and operations management into a single coherent structure across business applications, virtualized servers, network devices and protocols, internet protocols, and security and storage devices.

Downloading and assembling the solution

  1. Go to the Find Downloads and Media page on the IBM Passport Advantage Online website. You must log in with an IBM ID to continue.
  2. Under Download finder options, select the Find by part number search option.
  3. Search for each downloadable image by part number.
  4. Download all of the parts that you need.
  5. Unpack each install package into a separate temporary directory on your system.

Downloading fix packs for the solution

  1. Identify the fix packs that you need for IBM Netcool Ops Manager
  2. Go to the Fix Central website.
  3. Search for the fix pack by product name. You must log in with an IBM ID to continue.
  4. Download all of the fix packs that you need.
  5. Unpack each install package into a separate temporary directory on your system.
