Netcool/OMINbus Integrations Release Notice - Probe for Message Bus



A new version of the Netcool/OMNIbus Probe for Message Bus (nco-p-message-bus-18_0) will be available to download from 5 November 2021.


This version of the Message Bus Probe includes support for persistent subscription, alarm correlation for NSP-FAULT topic, content type application/stream+json support in Nokia NSP and the following dependency components:

  • Transport Module Common Integration Library (common-transportmodule-32_0)

You can download the installation package from the IBM Passport Advantage website:

A single package contains versions of the probe for all supported Operating Systems. To obtain this new package, use the Find by part number field to search for part number: M03MQEN

The probe supports the following Operating Systems:  AIX, Linux,  Linux on IBM Z, Solaris, and Windows.

Message Bus Probe integrations with event sources

You can use the Message Bus Probe to integrate Netcool/OMNIbus with XML or JSON event sources.  The probe comes with various configuration files for integrating with specific event sources.  You can access the latest documentation for configuring the currently supported integrations on the IBM Docs by using the following links:
