ISO 9001 (Quality management system)
Of the more than 13,000 standards that are monitored by the International Organization for Standardization the one that is recognized by companies worldwide as being synonymous with quality is ISO 9001:2015. Being certified to this standard is a key part of doing business in today's global marketplace.
Since 2001, IBM has maintained a Corporate Certificate and a Corporate Policy on Quality. A four-tiered Global Quality Framework model has been established that provides direction to IBM employees on quality system initiatives.
