Summary
Enabling this feature allows devices to receive the MaaS360 App Catalog, silently install VPP apps with device licenses only, and apply related app configurations, even if the user has not authenticated during the DEP enrollment process or through enrollment via Apple Configurator.
Note: The feature is not supported on Android devices and non-VPP apps.
Steps
- Enable "Deploy Apps and Configurations to devices enrolling without authentication and set their Ownership to Corporate Shared."
- Setup > Settings > Directory and Enrollment > Advanced Enrollment Settings > Advanced Management for Apple Devices > Deploy Apps and Configurations...
- Set the device's ownership to Corporate Shared.
- Locate the device by searching for it or manually navigating to Devices > Inventory. If the device's ownership is not already set to "Corporate Shared," click the pencil icon next to "Ownership," select "Corporate Shared," and then click the check mark to save your changes.
