DOWNLOADING IBM STERLING B2B INTEGRATOR

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Media Size
The complete media for this release is approximately 7 GB and includes:

• IBM Sterling B2B Integrator v6.2.2.1
• Global Mailbox v6.2.2.1
• AS4 Microservice

Hardware Requirements

• Minimum RAM: 8 GB
• Minimum disk space: 35 GB (approximately 30 GB for installation and 5 GB for repository)

JDK Updates

• Sterling B2B Integrator: Java Development Kit (JDK) version is now upgraded to version 17.0.19+10. This version is required to install or upgrade to Sterling B2B Integrator v6.2.2.1. 
  Note: When upgrading from Sterling B2B Integrator v5.2.6.3_x (or lower) to v6.2.2.1:
  1. Download the IBM JDK from the SDK.zip file bundled with the Media.
  2. Stop the Sterling B2B Integrator instance.
  3. Run the command: upgradeJDK.sh <path to IBM JDK 8.0.6.20> <path to JCE policy File>
  4. Upgrade IIM to v1.10.1.
  5. Use the upgraded IIM to upgrade Sterling B2B Integrator to v6.2.2.1. You can use the GUI mode or specify a response file, while specifying IBM Semeru Runtime Certified Edition 17.0.19+10.
• AS4 Microservice: After upgrading AS4 Microservice, you must manually update the JDK path before starting the service. The installer does not prompt for the Java installation path during the upgrade. Use the setJDK script to update AS4 Microservice to the required JDK version. Resource Allocation
When upgrading to Sterling B2B Integrator v6.2.2.1, ensure adequate CPU and memory resources are allocated to support the additional servers introduced in Sterling File Gateway - UI 2.0:

• One server for Sterling File Gateway - UI 2.0 APIs
• One server for the Identity Server (which uses OAuth authentication)

Database Connections
For support on TLS 1.3 database connections, refer to:

Installing and Upgrading Using IBM Installation Manager
For step-by-step installation and upgrade instructions, see the installation and upgrade section in IBM Online Documentation. Refer to Sterling B2B Integrator System Requirements before installing or upgrading to ensure that your database and operating system versions are still supported, and update them as necessary.

Installing and Upgrading Using Containers
To install or upgrade to this release, download Helm chart v3.2.2 for IBM Sterling B2B Integrator or IBM Sterling File Gateway, depending on the product you have deployed.

If you plan to migrate from the existing PGP solution and upgrade keys from 8 bit to 16 bit, refer to the Migration of Trading Partners to Native PGP article for details.
