Abstract
This document describes how to download IBM® Maximo® Anywhere version 7.6.4 by using the Passport Advantage website.
Download Description
The download package for Maximo Anywhere includes the following components:
- Maximo Asset Management required components
- Maximo Anywhere V7.6.4
- Maximo Anywhere application container (optional)
Prerequisites
Review the system requirements.
Installation Instructions
- Go to the Passport Advantage website.
- Sign in with a valid user ID and password.
- Use the Find by brand option to locate the Maximo Anywhere product by searching for either the part number, CJ3X4ML, or the product name Maximo Anywhere Version 7.6.4.
- Download the Max_Anywhere_V764.zip file.
- Extract the contents of the .zip file to the folder where you want to install the product.
- Optional: To access the Quick Start Guide, download the QS_Pubs_Max_Anywhere_V64_QS.zip.
- Review the installation documentation in IBM Knowledge Center.
Known Side Effects
For Windows apps, Maximo Anywhere ships with a temporary certificate as a place holder, which might have expired or will expire soon. You must obtain your own certificate to build Windows apps. To obtain this certificate, follow the instructions in this link:

Maximo Anywhere provides a default iOS provisioning profile, which will not work to build iOS binaries. You must obtain your own developer license with a provisioning profile, to build iOS apps. To obtain this provisioning profile, follow the instructions in this link: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSPJLC_7.6.4/com.ibm.si.mpl.doc/install/t_install_ios_dev_tools.html
When updating to Maximo Anywhere 7.6.4, you might reach the Installation Packages screen in the launchpad and receive an Installed Packages message that tells you that IBM Maximo Anywhere Enablement is already installed. If this happens, you must update Installation Manager. In the Installation Packages screen, deselect everything except Installation Manager and allow Installation Manager to install. When Installation Manager restarts, you can upgrade Maximo Anywhere.
When installing Maximo Anywhere 7.6.4, the launchpad is not working in Linux environments. The screens and directions in the following link describe what is on the launchpad and what action to take at each installation step.
