Abstract

IBM Db2 Mirror for i enables a continuous availability solution for data on IBM i. This solution allows for the availability of Db2 for i content across two independent LPARs to provide a solution to reduce or eliminate common downtime windows.

Db2 Mirror
IBM Db2 Mirror for i enables continuous availability for mission-critical applications. It requires two IBM i LPARs that are connected together that use the Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA) network protocol and its associated hardware. IBM Db2 Mirror for i is licensed program 5770-DBM.
