IBM COBOL for Linux on x86, V1.1.0 has been made generally available. This document contains information on how to download and install the licensed product after purchase.

Hardware requirements
IBM COBOL for Linux on x86 1.1 and its generated object programs run on any x86-64 processor that is supported by your operating system distribution. It is also recommended that you meet the following requirements:

Installation Instructions

IBM COBOL for Linux on x86 1.1 can be installed using a provided 'install' script in the base package, or manually by using rpm or dpkg. The product can be installed to the default location, or a specified non-default location.
