Abstract

OSP-IWS SQL WEB SERVICES FAIL ON DST CHANGES

Error Description

When a DST change happens.
The server who consumes the webservices receives the message:
'Internal Server Error'
SQLState":"08004","SQLCode":-99999,"message":"The application
server rejected the connection. (Profile token or identity
token is not valid.:XXXIWS)
Profile token or identity token is not valid.:XXXIWS"}
Where XXXIWS is the Webservice server name.

Problem Summary

When a DST change happens.
The server who consumes the webservices receives the message:
'Internal Server Error'
SQLState":"08004","SQLCode":-99999,"message":"The application
server rejected the connection. (Profile token or identity token
is not valid.:XXXIWS)
Profile token or identity token is not valid.:XXXIWS"}
Where XXXIWS is the Webservice server name.

Problem Conclusion

SQL web services are not recovering from daylight saving time
changes.  This has been corrected so that if a SQL service
detects that an authentication token has expired, it will
regenerate the token.

The fix requires SQL services to be redeployed.
