Abstract
OSP-OTHER-MSGCPF3C74 MSGCPF3C74 ENCOUNTERED DURING WRKCADMRE
FOLLOWING IPL.
Error Description
If a common MRE is being created and then added to multiple
nodes at nearly the same time, there can be a timing window
encountered that can get the admin domain index counts off
balance and can be noticed following an IPL when WRKCADMRE is
issued, then MSGCPF3C74 is returned.
Circumvention: Do NOT add multiple MREs into admin domain on
multiple nodes at the same time. Choose one node to act as a
role model and only add MREs from the single node.
*NOTE - This PTF will prevent future occurrences from happening,
but will not fix an existing mismatch in index counts.
Problem Summary
If a common MRE is being created and then added to multiple
nodes at nearly the same time, there can be a timing window
encountered that can get the admin domain index counts off
balance and can be noticed following an IPL when WRKCADMRE is
issued, then MSGCPF3C74 is returned.

Problem Conclusion
The cluster administrative domain will properly handle multiple
ADDCADMRE requests for the same resource at nearly the same time
on more than one node. One ADDCADMRE request will complete
successfully. The other requests will fail with MSGCPFAA02,
indicating that the monitored resource already exists in the
cluster administrative domain.
