Abstract
OSP-BASEDIR-INCORROUT DHCP MONITOR DOESN'T WORK WHEN *IOSYSCFG
AUTHORITY IS GAINED THROUGH GROUP PROFILE
Error Description
When launching the DHCP Monitor from the IBM Navigator for i
(web based), the screen flashes and the TCP/IP server are
redisplayed. No error is given. The profile running the monitor
needs *IOSYSCFG authority which it does have through it's
associated group profile.
Problem Summary
When launching the DHCP Monitor from the IBM Navigator for i,
the screen flashes and go back to the panel TCP/IP server. No
error is given. The profile running the monitor needs *IOSYSCFG
authority which it does have through it's associated group
profile.
Problem Conclusion
The reported problem is fixed in this PTF. Now the user's group
authority can be checked when performing the function DHCP
Monitor.
