Abstract

OSP-OTHER-UNPRED GMIR AFTER FAILOVER SECOND NODE IN THE SAME
CRG IS NOT ELIGIBLE

Error Description

GMIR after failover second IASP in the same CRG is not resumed

Problem Summary

In a Global Mirroring failover scenario, once the ended node is
brought back up, there was an inconsistent status reported for
nodes in the CRG.  One node would say "Eligible" and the other
would say "Ineligible".  This inconsistency was caused by the
Cross Site Health Check only running on one node and thus the
other node's eligibility was not updated.

Problem Conclusion

The node participation was changed so that both nodes
participate in the health check.  This results in consistent
information within the CRG.
