Abstract
OSP-INCORROUT Processor index truncated on PRTPEXRPT output
Error Description
OSP-INCORROUT Processor index truncated on PRTPEXRPT output
Problem Summary
The processor index is truncated on PRTPEXRPT output. It is
displayed in columns 85-86 of the report. The value comes from
field QTWHPI of the file QAYPETSKSW, for Hypervisor CPU Dispatch
events. These are collected by using a PEX definition where
BASEVT((*CPUSWT)) is specified on the ADDPEXDFN command. The
PRTPEXRPT field can only hold two hex digits. Any processor
number greater than two hex digits in length will be truncated.
Problem Conclusion
A new field was created to contain the full 3 hex digits of the
processor index. The new field is displayed in columns 124-126
of the report. The existing, truncated field is still
displayed in columns 85-86 of the report.
