Error description

  • Enduser has configured to remotely administrator an IBM i queue
manager but have found that authorization for the user profile
do not display properly, for example, queue manager and queues.
    .
To view the authorizations for a queue manager, perform
    the following:
      1. Configure remote administration connection to an IBM i
         queue manager.
      2. Right click on the queue manager > Object Authorities >
         Managed Authority Records.
    .
To view the authorization for a queue definition, perform
    the following:
      1. Right click on the queue definition > Object Authorities >
Managed Authority Records > Select Specific Profiles >
Select queue > Right side of panel displays authorities
    .
In the right hand panel, enduser will see a list of enduser
profile names and group profile names that have authority
to a particular queue definition. However, for a generic
profile, for example, ABC.*.* they do not see any profile
    names listed.
