Abstract

OSP-T/QPMDJOBM-MSGMCH1210 CRTPFRDTA PROCESS_DATA procedure

Error Description

CRTPFRDTA fails posting MCH1210 Receiver value too small to hold
result. From Module . . . . . : QPMDJOBM From Procedure . . . :

. . : 2522 In this case once we started to get the error we got
it on all following collections, system is only rarely iplled so
all collections are created within the same IPL.

CRTPFRDTA fails with MCH1210 in QPMDJOBM procedure PROCESS_DATA
when processing large current wait time information.            
                                                               
Once this happened it continues on all subsequent collections.  

Problem Conclusion

When jobs use no CPU and remain in the same wait, the current  
wait time associated with those jobs can become very large. The
MCH1210 happens as this large current wait time information is  
converted to the QAPMJOBWTG wait time format. The calculation  
has been changed to handle large times.
