Abstract
OSP-MSGCPF9815-F/QDDREAD-T/QPMBCVTD CVTPFRDTA FAILS IF QAITMON
FILE IS PRESENT IN THE LIBRARY TO BE CONVERTED.
Error Description
CVTPFRDTA fails if QAITMON file is present in the library to be
converted. CVTPFRDTA is looking for the DDS for QAITMON in
library QPFR. WRKSYSACT creates QAITMON when choosing the
*OUTFILE option. WRKSYSACT was moved to the OS from PT1 at 6.1
and the model file now exists in QSYS which is causing CVTPFRDTA
to fail since it is looking in QPFR.
Problem Summary
CVTPFRDTA fails if the QAITMON file is present in the library to
be converted.
This problem also exists in CVTPFRCOL
Problem Conclusion
The file QAITMON is created by WRKSYSACT when OUTPUT(*FILE) is
selected. In V6R1, WRKSYSACT was moved from the Performance
Tools Licensed Program Product to the Operating System. The
CVTPFRDTA and CVTPFRCOL functions were not changed to search for
the QAITMON template file in QSYS. This has been corrected.
Temporary Fix
Comments
Circumvention
QAITMON can be deleted in the from library to allow conversion
of collection services files.
