PI82207: DXL ERROR WHILE PERFORMING EXPORT TO DOORS OPERATION IN GATEWAY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer exports a model from Gateway to Doors, but Export
  operation fails with the below error message
  ' DXL:<C:\Users\uidj8909\AppData\Local\Temp\1637\rg8:547> null
  Object parameter was passed into argument position 1
    DXL: execution halted
  
  Developement has analyzed and provided 3 scripts to be placed
  under installation directory.
  1. importExport.dxl
  2. doors_export_findOutLink.br
  3. findOutlink.dxl
  
  The above scripts helped customer to resolve the Issue.
  
  Now customer wants to implement the proposed solution in a
  consolidated manner across multiple installations, i.e A fix
  that can be deployed on every installation that is  performing
  export to DOORS for this project.

Problem conclusion

• Fixed Element.doorsFindOutLink in doors_export.br.
  Now it searches the out-link using the "Absolute Number"
  attribute of target object instead of the DOORS ID that can have
  a prefix.
