Error description

  • Headline:
Rhapsody version 7.6.1 does not properly switches the Features
Window between State Oriented ? Token Oriented call Operations.

    Abstract:
Attempts to Open the Feature Window of the State Oriented Call
Operation and then selecting Token Oriented call operation
results in Rhapsody not switching the Feature Window to Token
    Oriented Call Operation.

    Describe the problem:

The Features window for a call operation on a 'state oriented'
    activity
diagram is not switched when the context is changed to the
'token oriented' Call Operation. The field set of the Feature
Window remains the same and does not update, causing confusion.

The issue always occurs with Rhapsody version 7.6.1.3 ? also
Rhapsody shows different fields in feature Window of State
Oriented and Token Oriented, however with latest versions of
Rhapsody i.e. v8.0.5 ? 8.0.6 the issue never occurs also the
fields in feature window is same for both State Oriented and
    Token Oriented.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Add Two Activity Diagrams to the Package.
    2. Set the SimulationMode property to 'StateOriented' and
'TokenOriented' alternately to both the Activity Diagrams and
set the Name for the Activity Diagrams.
    3. Add the Call Operation Model elements to both of the Activity
    Diagrams.
    4. Then Drag the Call operation elements from Model Browser and
add it to the Object Model Diagram.
    5. open the Feature Window of the State Oriented call operation
and then without closing the Feature window select the Token
Oriented Call operation. You can find that the name of the
Feature Window gets updated but the fields remains the same
which suppose to change. As if you open the feature window of
each Call Operation separately (i.e. after closing the first
feature window and then opening the other one) its clear that
both the Call Operation have different fields in the feature
    Window.

    Workaround:
There is no known workaround at this time.
