Error description

  • Use of flowlib caused map to encounter internal map error 10
with large number of REF*SE* lines in input file.

In f_MakeLXLoop rules in following is encountering the problem
    LoopN12[1]:LoopLX
    LoopN12[2]:LoopLX

If number of REF*SE* lines are reduced a few hundred lines, then

a page usage count error appears eventhough increasing it does
not relieve the page count error.

If number of REF*SE* lines are reduced to just one line, then
    map completes successfully.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
IBM Transformation Extender users who uses a function library
    function.

    Problem Description:
Maps which use function library functions could exhibit a page
usage count error warning (map return code 18) or an internal
    error (return code 10).

    Platforms Affected:
    All

Problem conclusion

  • In cases when an argument to a function library function was
equivalent to NONE and previous arguments were present, code to
deallocate internal resources for the previous arguments was
missing. Resource deallocation logic was added for these cases.
