Error description

  • This issue can be seen when using the IBM Sterling
Transformation Extender (ITX) SFTP adapter with a private/public

key pair, generated with more recent version of key generation
    tools (PuTTYgen / OpenSSH ssh-keygen / etc).

When the private/public key pair are created with teh newer file

standards, then the ITX SFTP adapter is unable to read the file,

meaning that the user might encounter a '1064: invalid
    privatekey:' error.

Local fix

  • ITXCQ - ITX00062937
    PB / GK
Circumvention: the user can regenerate private keys with an
older version of these tools, PuTTYgen.exe 0.7.4 for example.
