PH65590: LAUNCHER DOES NOT RESOLVE RESOURCE REGISTRY VARIABLES BEFORE CHECKING FOR INVALID PATHS, LEADING TO SPURIOUS WARNING MESSAGES

Error description

• The IBM Sterling Transformation Extender (ITX) Launcher startup
  log shows warnings, if an output path does not exist.  Example:
  
  WARNING: Watch 1 - Unknown output path found:
  /home/user/maps/Output
  
  However, if Resource Registry is being used, then the warning
  appears, regardless of whether the resolved path is there or
  not:
  
  WARNING: Watch 1 - Unknown output path found:
  /home/user/maps/%OutPath%
  
  The map stills works, and if the path is there, the file is
  created in the correct place, and the warning message can be
  ignored.

• Users Affected:
  IBM Transformation Extender users who uses the Launcher startup
  log and has a map with file paths which contain resource
  aliases.
  
  
  Problem Description:
  Warnings could appear in the Launcher startup log about unknown
  paths when paths contained resource aliases. The warnings did
  not take into account the value of resource aliases.
  
  Platforms Affected:

Problem conclusion

• The Launcher startup log code was updated to resolve resource
  aliases in paths for which warnings may be produced.
  
  Applies to:
  11.0.1.1
  
  Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
