APAR status

Error description

  • SPE Adapter not getting invoked when the
    getCodeListItemBySenderCode argument for -D starts with a minus
    sign.
    
    This behavior is not specific to the SPE adapter, but applicable
    to all Java based adapters.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
    IBM Transformation Extender users using any Java based adapters
    
    Problem Description:
    DTXPI command line parser fails to process the command line
    option value properly when the value starts with minus sign
    though it is surrounded in single or double quotes.
    
    Platforms Affected:
    All
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed a problem with command line parser where it now handles
    minus sign as the first character in the command option value
    properly without throwing invalid command line error.
    
    Applies to:
    10.1.0.2, 10.1.1.1, 10.1.2.1, 11.0.0.0, 11.0.1.0
    
    Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
