• Design Studio crashes when a map is ran and no errors are
  reported in the logs.

Problem summary

• Users Affected:
  IBM Transformation Extender users using maps which use group
  exclude characters.
  
  Problem Description:
  A heap overflow could occur when group exclude characters were
  used. This could lead to unpredictable behavior including a
  crash.
  
  Platforms Affected:
  All
  

Problem conclusion

• The heap overflow was caused by an error in logic which adds
  group exclude character types to a list. This error was
  corrected.
  
  Applies to:
  10.1.1.1, 10.1.2.1, 11.0.0.0, 11.0.1.0
  
  Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
