APAR status

Error description

  • Occurs when using the IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) Plugin
    Node 11.0.0.x in the IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Toolkit
    12.0.12.x on the Windows platform.
    
    When the integration steps are complete, the additional node
    (Sterling TX\ITX Map) correctly appears in the Toolbox.  As a
    user attempts to drag one instance onto the design canvas, the
    Toolkit either generates a pop-up exception or the whole ACE
    Toolkit crashes.

    Problem Description:
    Design Studio features fail to install under newer versions of
    App Connect Enterprise Toolkit where they either crash or throw
    unexpected/invalid error messages to the user during
    installation.
    
    Platforms Affected:
    Windows
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed a problem with Design Studio plugins under App Connect
    Enterprise Toolkit environment where they fail to install the
    Design Studio features due to load error with the product
    configuration file and restructuring of some of the features in
    the newer Eclipse platform used by App Connect Enterprise
    Toolkit.
