APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The 837P transaction data, which includes the presence of the
  2320 AMT_D and the absence of the 2430 SVD and 2330B DTP
  segments. The transaction failed compliance due to the missing
  2330B DTP segment, resulting in a Type 4 rejection under
  business rule 59252, despite the DTP being reported in IK3 and
  the 277CA transaction being accepted.
  
  Upon analysis, we found that this issue is present in 837P/D/I
  transactions and is associated with business rules 59252, 59254,
  and 59253.

Problem summary

• Incorrect segment location reporting for rules 59252, 59254, and
  59253 causes entire transaction to fail when claim level
  rejection enabled.
  

Problem conclusion

• hcsvu library updated (rules.h) to report segment location at
  end of claim and  not end of transaction for missing DTP
  segment.

  Healthcare Pack HIPAA 10.1.0, 10.2.0, 10.2.1, 10.2.2.
