Error description

  • Daylight saving time is not taken into account when outputting
    the time zone offset for ZZZZ style time zone formats when the
    built date-time item is the result of the CURRENTDATETIME
    function and related functions. This caused a built UTC offset
    to be the region base UTC offset instead of the daylight saving
    time offset when the system used daylight saving time.

Problem summary

    IBM Transformation Extender users using CURRENTDATETIME and
    related functions on systems whose system time uses daylight
    saving time.
    
    Problem Description:
    Timezone is 1 hour off with day light savings time.

Problem conclusion

  • Daylight saving time is not taken into account when outputting
    the time zone offset for ZZZZ-style time zone formats when the
    built date-time item is the result of the CURRENTDATETIME
    function and related functions. This caused a built UTC offset
    to be the region base UTC offset instead of the daylight saving
    time offset when the system used daylight saving time. Logic was
    introduced to take daylight saving time into account for
    ZZZZ-style time zone formats when CURRENTDATETIME and related
    functions are used.
