    Circumvention: None

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
IBM Transformation Extender users using JMap running on SI
    Server

    Problem Description:
'Invalid argument - Native function: CMpiMapSetCache::Load'
running Map from Design studio on SI

    Platforms Affected:
    All

Problem conclusion

  • When a map is large and the map instance counter exceeds 99, the
total length of this constructed map name goes over 32
characters, the permitted length limit for ITX maps, and causes
the failure. Modified and reduce the fixed value format
(WTXDynamicMap_) of map instance name to WTXDyMap_. Additional
characters would be available either for larger map sizes, or
the map instance counter before reaching the 32-character limit.
