APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Downloading an older file version from the Task UI results in an
    incomplete file download, so the output file can't be opened.
    The latest version downloads successfully.  It also works
    correctly in the standard UI.
    This is a regression from 8.2.0.0.
    The WebSphere Liberty messages.log will show entries like the
    following:
    FFDC1015I: An FFDC Incident has been created:
    "java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Socket operation timed out
    before it could be completed
     0000b0dd com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.util.ApplicationErrorUtils
    E SRVE0777E: Exception thrown by application class
    'com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.srt.SRTServletResponse.getWriter:808'
    java.lang.IllegalStateException: SRVE0199E: OutputStream already
    obtained
    
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1.	Log in as OpenPagesAdministrator
    2.	Create the File
    a.	Navigate to Attachments -> Files
    i.	Click The ? Add New'
    ii.	Select any document type.
    iii.	In Add File, attach a text file say ?sample.txt?
    iv.	Select the folder for ex. ?Test 01?
    v.	Click Save
    3.	Upload a new version
    a.	Add some text to the text file and Update the file.
    b.	Click Update, Select the same file
    c.	Enter the Version Comment for ex ?v1?
    d.	Click Upload
    e.	Close the fie
    4.	Open the File
    a.	Click the download icon against the one ?1?,which older
    version
    
    Expected Results:
    
      The File can able to download properly.
    
    Actual Results:
    
    The File is not able to download, it shows error popup.
