  • Description:
    
    When creating a dashboard panel of type reports for ?profile
    reports? the listing of reports that shows up is now based on
    what is in the ?My Work Tab Configuration? -> ?My Reports?.
    Previously this type of dashboard panel was based on what
    reports were included in the ?Home Page Tab Configuration?.
    
    Prerequisites:
    
    OP 8.2.02
    
    NOTE:  For this example, we will use the Profile ?Default? as it
    has no reports configured by default.  The reports you add to
    each ?section? don?t matter either just be sure they are
    different for each so you can tell which ones are in the panel.
    
    1.	Log into OpenPages as Administrator
    2.	Assign the OpenPagesAdministrator to the Profile = Default
    a.	Switch to the Standard UI
    b.	Navigate to Administration -> Profiles
    c.	Select ?Default?
    d.	Next to ?Associated Users? select ?Associate?
    e.	Select ?System Administrator -. OpenPagesAdministrator
    f.	Click ?Associate?
    3.	Add Reports to the ?My Work Tab Configuration? -> ?My
    Reports?
    a.	Next to ?My Work Tab Configuration? click on ?Configure
    Reports?
    b.	?Select a Report Type? = ?My Reports? -> click ?Next?
    c.	On ?Choose Reports? click on ?Associate?
    d.	Expand OpenPages V6 -> Administrative Reports
    e.	Select ?Checked Out Files? and ?Disassociated Objects?
    f.	Click ?Associate?
    g.	Click ?Finish?
    h.	Next to ?My Work Tab Configuration? click on ?Add Predefined
    List?
    i.	Select ?My Reports?
    j.	Click ?Include?
    4.	Add different reports to the ?Home Page Tab Configuration?
    a.	Next to ?Home Page Tab Configuration? select ?Add?
    b.	Expand OpenPages V6 -> Audit Reports
    c.	Select ?Audit Change? and ?Audit Summary?
    d.	Click ?Add?
    5.	Create a Dashboard Panel of Type = Report
    a.	Switch back to the Task Focused UI
    b.	Change the profile to ?Default?
    c.	On the ?Dashboard? click the ?Configure? button
    d.	Click ?Add Panel?
    e.	Panel Type = Reports
    f.	Label = Profile Reports
    g.	Data Source = Profile Reports
    h.	Click ?Done?
    i.	Click ?Done?
    
    
    Steps to Reproduce:
    
    1.	Log into OpenPages
    2.	In the Dashboard panel review which reports show up
    3.	Note the reports are those that are configured under in the
    ?My Reports? under ?My Work Tab Configuration?
    

Local fix

  • Add the reports to ?My Reports? under the ?My Work Tab
    Configuration? in the profile.

Problem conclusion

  • We made a very small change that only affects the reports that
    display in the Profile Reports dashboard panel.
    
    Customers should download OpenPages 8.2.0.2 Interim Fix 1 from
    Passport Advantage. See the following document for details on
    obtaining OpenPages 8.2.0.2 Interim Fix 1:

    Note:  This is now corrected in the OpenPages 8.2.0.2 Interim
    Fix 1 and will also be fixed in our next fixpack.
