Error description

  • Description:
In the Task UI, a personal filter is created with a date field
with a condition between a range of dates.
Filter is edited and the ?From? field is edited first with a
date that is greater than the existing ?To? value.
An error message is returned (correctly) stating that the From
date cannot come after the To date, however the entire browser
    session crashes.
This occurs everytime an invalid set of dates is input.
In Chrome or Edge the error is displayed and the browser does
not hang / crash / freeze, allowing the user to select valid
    dates.
In the Std UI, entering invalid date ranges produces no error
    and no browser freeze.

    Prerequisites:

Create a Filter in Task UI with condition of date range between

    1.	Log into OpenPages using browser Internet Explorer version
    11+ with admin acct
    2.	In Task UI navigate to Remediation > Issues
    3.	Click the filter icon
    4.	Under My Filters select Add Filters
    5.	Enter a name for the filter
    6.	Under Conditions click Add Condition
    7.	In the Field section select Due Date
    8.	In the Operation section select 'In the Range'
    9.	In the From date field select a date in the past e.g 1st
    August 2020
    10.	In the To date field select a date later that the From date
    e.g 10th August 2020
    11.	Click Done and click Save

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1.	Log into OpenPages using browser Internet Explorer version
    11+ with admin acct
    2.	In the Task UI navigate to Remediation > Issues
    3.	Click the Filter icon
    4.	Click the Edit icon for the newly created filter in Pre Reqs
    5.	Click Condition 1 in the Condition section
    6.	Change the From date to a date that is later than that of the
    To field e.g 17th August 2020
    7.	The to date field is highlighted in red and the message ?The
date must come after the one in Date? is shown underneath the
date field, the pop up calendar keeps flickering on screen and
the browser completely hangs. ( Sorry not possible to get
    screenshot )

    Expected Results:

There should be a message on screen that advises that To date
must be later than the From date and the user should be able to
change the values to valid dates.

    Actual Results:

When an invalid date range is selected, the browser completely
freezes forcing the user to end the browser session via Task
    Manager.

    Error Message:

On screen, ?The date must come after the one in Date?
