Error description

  • Description:
    In the Task Focused User Interface (TFUI), the error messages
    that are triggered by the OpenPages Workflow actions are always
    shown in English even though the user has a different Locale
    language selected.

    Prerequisites:
    A)	OpenPages 8.0 with solutions installed
    
    B)	OpenPagesAdministrator using OpenPages Modules 7.4.0 Master
    profile and U.S. English locale
    
    C)	Create the SOXBusEntity Workflow
    1.	Log in to OpenPages as OpenPagesAdministrator.
    2.	Click on the Open Settings (cogwheel) icon menu at right-top
    side, then click on Manage Workflows.
    3.	Click on Add New, enter the following and then click on Add.
    a.	Name = BE WF
    b.	Object type = Business Entity
    c.	Type = Manual Start
    4.	From the left palette, drag a Stage (+ icon) to the canvas,
    name it End and click on Add
    5.	Change type to End
    6.	Connect the stage Start to End, let the standard name and
    click on Add
    7.	Expand Conditions and click on Add Condition
    8.	Select the following and then click on Done
    a.	Compare = A field in the current object
    b.	Object Field = Business Entity Name (System Fields:Name)
    c.	Using > Operator = equal
    d.	To = A specified value
    e.	Business Entity Name = 000
    9.	Click on Publish
    
    
    
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1.	Log in to OpenPages as OpenPagesAdministrator.
    2.	Click on the Primary Menu at left-top side and then in
    Organization > Business Entities
    3.	Click on any business entity
    4.	Click on Action > Start BE WF and then click on Continue
    5.	Check message Invalid Workflow: No conditions are met for
    next stage. is shown.
    6.	Click on the Open User icon menu at right-top side, then
    click on Change Locale.
    7.	Chose any other locale, i.e. Spanish, then click on Save
    8.	Click on the Primary Menu at left-top side and then in
    Organización > Entidades de negocios
    9.	Click on any business entity
    10.	Click on Acción > Iniciar BE WF and then click on Continuar
    11.	Check the same message Invalid Workflow: No conditions are
    met for next stage. is shown instead of the corresponding
    message in Spanish.
    
    Expected Results:
    Error messages are shown honoring the user Locale
    
    Actual Results:
    Error messages are always shown in English
    
    Error Message:
    The error in this APAR is not relevant since the issue happen
    with multiple error codes. The error OP-08545 in this document
    was presented just to expose the issue.
